Buying Organic Is Worth It!

by Carly Neubert, BA, NC , Updated April 14, 2025

What is 1 thing you can STOP๐Ÿ›‘ doing in support of 1 thing you will START ๐Ÿšฆ doing to change your life by 5%?

What habits are worth your time and energy and which habits are not worth it? I've got 1 habit you can start and 1 habit you should stop, today!

๐Ÿšฆ Start buying these foods as ORGANIC ONLY

I often get the question: โ€œis buying organic that important/worth it.โ€ Only you can answer that question for your health and budget. At the very least, I recommend purchasing the DIRTY DOZEN as organic whenever possible. The Dirty Dozen are the 12 fruits/vegetables that have the MOST pesticides and contaminants.

The CLEAN 15 list includes the fruits and vegetables that have the LEAST amount of pesticide residue and could be purchased non-organic as necessary.ย

๐Ÿ›‘ Stop eating pesticides and contaminants

Wash all non-organic vegetables and fruits in a mild vegetable rinse or homemade solution of 1 cup water and ยฝ teaspoon of baking soda or 4 cups of water and 1 cup of apple cider vinegar.ย

Moving the needle by small increments yields large results over time. ๐Ÿšฆ Start supporting your life with foundational healthy habits and ๐Ÿ›‘ stop sabotaging yourself.ย
